This Hurricane Series 2 Faceplate is made from steel and includes four mounting holes for securely holding wood blanks on your lathe. Each faceplate comes with two set screws for reverse turning and features a total of four set screw holes, which are positioned in different locations to fit a wide variety of wood lathes!
Features:- Set of two 3" woodturning faceplates with 1 1/4" x 8 TPI thread mount for mid-size and mini lathes.

Hurricane 3” steel faceplates series 1 1/4”x 8 TPI, 2 pack
A nice surprise feature is they come with set screws, (grub screws), so you can lock them against the spindle and turn in reverse without danger of them spinning off. These are well made and the screw holes are large enough for sturdy sheet metal screws that won’t break off like wood screws. The price is right to dedicate one to a single attachment like a big shop made sanding disc.
