Special Orders And Drop Shipping Policy
We aim to stock all of the items that we sell. However, some items are specially made to order and some are just not practical to ship from our warehouse when they could more easily be shipped directly from our manufacturers.
Machinery And Lathes Availability
Robust Lathes
Most Robust lathes are made to order in their factory in Barneveld Wisconsin. Robust lathes usually have a lead time of six weeks or more. Please call us for availability and lead times.
Oneway Lathes
Most Oneway lathes are made to order in their factory in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Oneway lathes usually have a lead time of four to six weeks. Please call us for availability and lead times.
Powermatic and JET Machinery
Machinery sold by Powermatic and JET are not made to order and are usually in stock in their warehouse in Tennessee. We are full line dealers for JET, Powermatic, and Wilton. Not every product is listed on our website, but we are able to special order any item for you. Please call us for more details.
Shipping Rates
Our drop ship manufactures all charge a shipping fee which will vary, based upon the item, its weight, your location and delivery requirements. We will charge you exactly what the manufacturer charges us as their drop shipping fee. Our website will show basic rates for drop shipped items. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
Please note that orders containing $2,000 or more of JET and Powermatic items ship for free! Shipping rates for orders containing less than $2,000 of JET and Powermatic items will be calculated during Checkout or by contacting us over the phone.
Return Policy
Items that are Special Ordered, including items drop shipped from the manufacturer are not returnable. Before you place your order, please make sure the item is exactly what you want.
In extreme cases, if you insist on returning a special order or drop shipped item, you will be responsible for:
- The original shipping cost to you
- Return shipping cost to our warehouse or the manufacturer. Truck freight shipping.
- A restocking fee of up to 50% or more
Defective Items Policy
Items that are Special Ordered, including items drop shipped from the manufacturer which are not fully functional upon arrival will be handled by the technical support department and policies of the manufacturer. These items are not returnable, unless determined to be the final resolution by the manufacturer. Our manufacturers have excellent technical support departments which can handle just about every issue that might arise with your item. Please call us first and we will arrange the communication between you and the manufacturer.
